Bowland Foods requires increasing numbers of locally reared livestock, to meet the demands from our customers for locally produced meat.

Many of these customers are intent on reducing food miles and the stress imposed on animals during transportation and consequently they are promoting brands which promote the local nature of their products.

It is our policy to buy the majority of Livestock which we process in local Livestock Auctions but our buyers will be happy to visit any farm to assess stock for sale on a deadweight basis.

Any farmers who would like to sell to us on a deadweight basis, are welcome to contact any of our local buyers.
